Paula’s blanket

My friend Paula is a very talented quilter. Last year I was playing around with color schemes to make a blanket for my daughter. Paula saw this square, fell in love, and struck a deal. She would make me a quilt if I would make her this blanket. I’ve worked on it off and on and ran into a few issues ( being the perfectionist that I am) . I am almost done, whew! And I know she is going to LOVE it!

I have been crocheting since I was 3. I remember sitting in my grandmother's lap completely fascinated by this 'magic' of creating something with yarn and a hook. I am now grown and have 3 children (1 at home) and 2 granddaughters. I also have a doting boyfriend who loves going on adventures with me and I have a career that I wouldn't trade for any other. I adore our little family and am just navigating through life with a cup of tea and a crochet hook in hand.
